You brought on self induced DV by buying that color, if I were a buyer looking for that model as at minimum would have to have it repainted.

This is always a fun topic.

I had $17k worth of damage on a G37 (also was not in it) and I got a DV check for around $2k. I had to ask for it, but didn't argue for any more than that. I held onto the car for another 2 years or so, and the accident had absolutely no bearing on resale value.

Find out what their value is, and go from there. It's too subjective to determine an exact value.

I'm not looking for anything too crazy. From research it looks like $1500 to $2000 would be a reasonable expectation. We shall see. Thanks for the advice guys.
