RSU Tax Question

Situation:
10 RSUs matured March 2016 (Let's say $1,000). My company took 3 shares for tax purposes in March 2016 ($300). I did not sell the other 7 shares in 2016.
So, where should I see the $300 that was taken out for taxes? I don't see it on my Etrade 1099 or my W2. Will it only show when I sell the 7 shares?
Thanks

It should be on your W2 from your employer included in your gross earnings, not a separate line item or anything. When the shares vest they show up as earnings, and the cancelled shares will show up as the tax component related to those earnings.

Sounds good. I'll go back and check my pay-stubs to see if I can find where they were included. I assume March of 2016.
Thanks!
edit: there was a Net Pay=$0 pay-stub in March 2016 when the taxes were taken out. Thanks again.
