There were some great threads here where folks discussed these subjects without a lot of political rhetoric. I searched for them this morning and was unable to dig them up.
There's a thread on the Political Talk board about the Treasury Dept. freezing our debt and issuing debt without auctioning it in a sort've end-around method of continuing to finance government while avoiding our debt ceiling which is approaching in October.
Can someone help me find them so I can link them?
