Pay for radiant barrier installation or install it myself?

I want radiant barrier in my attic but I don't really want to go through all the headaches of installing it myself in tight/uncomfortable spaces. I could buy all the material for approximately $400 - $500 and install it myself or I could pay approximately $1,700 for a professional installation and not have to worry about doing it myself.
What would the MT folks suggest?

Retrofitting is not my cup of tea either. I'd pay someone to do it, I think you can probably negotiate that number south.
Did the LP tech shield on my roof when I built in 2012, simply amazing product. Looking to build again and will definitely use again on roof, leaning towards closed cell on walls and crawl
