Unfortunately, my Grandfather passed away this last week. We found some old stock certificates that I am pretty sure are worthless, but I want to make sure before I throw them away. Any suggestions on the best way to figure this out?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I know my company paid out about $3mil to a family that found priginal stock paperwork from the 1940s or something. Supposedly grandfather forgot and died and grandma said "We gave $300 to those nice boys to try and help out"
Definitely worth calling/emailing investor relations

I'll buy them if you don't want them. I don't have an angle, I would just like to frame one.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. I used to buy old "worthless" certificates from infamous, bankrupt companies all the time. And even if he just got a couple of bucks for them on EBay, it would be better than throwing them away.

This. That sounds like an awesome thing to put in an office.
