These are all running on hype and speculation, obviously, the majority of the companies have zero financial information available, might as well go to Harrah's.
That being said, there are going to be 1 or 2 that come away winners and become legitimate companies. Not huge companies by any means IMO, but there is definitely room for growth with this untapped market.
Two that I've been watching are PHOT and MCIG. PHOT mainly deals with providing the supplies for growers. They seem to have a real company, with a board of directors, and long term growth in mind. Again, this is all speculation, but they could prosper a bit.
MCIG I like the most. They have a nice product that I could see fulfilling a niche. They sell a vapor cigarette for marijuana. There website seems legit, and the product is really cool actually, even though I don't smoke. Also, they just acquired another vapor company that is involved in the non-marijuana vapor market, and operates internationally. This industry is getting popular with the whole e-cigarette thing taking off. Their price hasn't been quite as erratic as some of the others also, which I like.
All that said, these are pure bets like all penny stocks. I haven't bought any and will probably wait till the mania calms down, but I'm definitely watching.
