NVDA: Heading into earnings 8/23. What are we thinking?

Been in it a while, so I road the rocket ship these past 8 months.
Some speculating that this beast isn’t close to being done.
PTs I have seen EOY : $500, $600, and $800
Thinking of putting some new money in.
Any thoughts?

There’s no way they raised guidance to the degree they did without sandbagging a little. It’s gonna be a monster.

They don't make the chips themselves. TSCM does and they lowered their guidance iirc.
I'm sure Nvidia will see plenty of irrational buying but it makes about as much sense as that Vietnamese EV car company coming out of the gate with an $80b valuation.
*The fact they do not have their own foundry amazes me. I don't recall ever hearing that they plan to have one either.

Wait until after the earnings post it could go one way really good or the other way really bad there has been a lot of short action on this particular stock in the past 6 months they have just been killed.

They’re not in the same galaxy. NVDA is a little expensive imo, and I’ve sold about a quarter of my stake, but I have little doubt it will be higher in the next 2-3 years, so I’m not going to get too carried away trying to time it.
TSMC guidance is not necessarily correlated with NVDA sales revenue.

Look I think NVDA has gone too far too fast but I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth either. As long as they keep smashing earnings they’ll get the benefit of the doubt from the market.
