Lump sum payment show on credit report

I made a large lump sum payment on my student loans and was told by sofi to wait 60-90 days for it to show on my credit report before refinancing.
I noticed on credit karma that after 30 days the total balance of my loans reflected the lump sum payment.
Am i good to go on the refinance or is there more to it than trusting credit karma?

I would think the transaction will show on any other credit reporting.
