I opened a second checking account with Capital One to be my "expense account" because it was quick and free to do online. I use my Iberiabank checking and savings for everything else.

I've since realized their website is absolute trash and I went into a Chase branch and opened a checking with them to use instead (way better, I know). If I've transferred all of my funds out of that Capital One account...is there any negatives or positives in closing/keeping that account?

Will it affect my credit score by closing it? It's only been open 3-4 months.

No affect at all to credit score. Transfer everything and close it!

Won't effect your credit score. Keeping it open may result in account fees. I'd close it.

Thanks for the responses. Going to close it on Monday once the transfers are finalized.
