Loan Help Needed

I'm in the market for a boat and I have an idea of what I want to finance. Looking at buying used and putting down however much to get me to $10k. My question is, will a bank finance any boat? Or does it have to be a certain year and up? I have noticed some say certain years on their sites. Would a personal loan be a better option?
Next question is what are some good lenders for this type of thing? Be sure to let me know if you think there is a better route.

I just looked at my credit union's website and they will loan on a 2012-2016 model up to 7 years

You're looking for a $10k boat loan or are you willing to put down $10k which would be a 5% or 10% down payment?

Sounds like he wants to finance $10k and pay for the rest.
