Has anyone ever been gifted land or given land in Louisiana? What is the process to take? Just go to a title attorney?

Yes, I was given and gave land to my kids. You will need to have papers drawn up thru a attorney. You will need to know all info of said land. That should be on your tax statement or if you had in surveyed.
Once papers are drawn and everybody signs, then go to the clerk of court office and file them.
