Average about 15% for last few years. That may sound high, but kids are all out of the house, we don't need what we make, and the charities we give to are vetted for efficient use of the funds for causes we believe are important:
Church
anti-trafficking charities
underprivileged youth/families
children in third world countries
Going to Africa tomorrow. Just took one trip over there to see that everyone who posts on here is rich by the standards we see over there. Changes your perspective on what you "need".
And many who give much less are sacrificing more; percentages can be deceiving depending on discretionary income.
