I want to move my simple IRA and need some suggestions

My current IRA is held with Whitney investment services and they are dogshit. I wanted to move to Vanguard but they require our human resource manager to give them her SSN# which she refuses to do just to manage the account. I am in the Baton Rouge area and would prefer someone local. Any suggestions. We are a 5034 right now but I can swing others in the company over as well because most are unhappy with Whitney.
