How long do home appraisal reports usually take?

Once an appraiser comes out and views the property, how long does it usually take for the report to come in?

2-3 days average. I had one done on my house for refinance on Monday and had the report on Wednesday afternoon. Depending on the appraiser and how booked they are that week

Thanks... In the process of selling my house and waiting on the appraisal to come back. It was done last Thursday so hopefully it'll hear something soon

Is there a time constraint that you're under? Oftentimes if you take the time to meet the appraiser beforehand-or when he or she arrives at the home for the inspection report-and ask him about his typical turn time you can expect. Or better yet explain any time crunch you are under.

No not really... Have a contingent agreement in place already to buy a new house so anxious to get the appraisal back on my current home. If for some reason it didn't come through it could throw the whole deal down the toilet

The water won't boil just because you're watching it. From a dude who made a living for awhile waiting on appraisals coming back...relax as best you can. It won't be long brah.

Depends on how good the appraiser is at find/delete/copy/paste. I had pictures from another fricking house in my report.
