I graduate in December and im thinking about getting a credit card to pay gas and bills to build some credit. What cards should I be looking at?

What's your current score?

Will you pay it off in full each month?

Something with no fee. You will want to keep this card active forever
Do you have access to USAA?

I had no credit history and had to get one through my local bank.

I'd go to the bank where you have your checking and savings accounts and ask about their credit cards.

Capital One Journey. It's a student card and actually has rewards. Not bad for a starter card.

Something with a low limit, no annual fee, and something you're planning on paying off at the end of every month. And if you can find one that gives you rewards, that's a perk too.
It being your first card, you'll probably experience extremely high interest rates - which is why it's important that you pay it off every month, and that your limit is low, so you aren't tempted to go overboard.
My dad has been in the financial advising business for decades, and he always preached to me - "If you don't have it in the bank when you pull out the credit card, you won't have it in the bank at the end of the month."
Make smart decisions. It will save you a lot of stress and money in the future.

Be careful, if you have never used a credit card, it is easy to forget that it is unlike a debit card. I will all the time absentmindedly make purchases with it thinking about room under my credit limit similar to money left in bank account.
I am extremely frugal typically though so it never makes a big deal but it takes time to get used to the subtle differences
