Doing the same on long term plays, but selling if I get gains on short term plays in the interim. I am not sure if I am DCAing or trying to catch a falling knife at this point.

wasnt it a failed retest on the previous low...that everyone waits for?

A lot of people are looking at value picks as how far a stock has fallen compared to last year but I’ve been looking at any stocks that are solid companies that have fallen lower than before Trump was elected. Cruise liners, airliners, gas, etc...
We pull through this corona bullshite; people get back to work, trump gets re-elected, the market should bounce back well over the next couple years and if you bought smart long term plays you’ll be sitting fine.
Trying to gobble up questionable stocks at a lower value relative to last year for a quick profit is going to unfortunately bankrupt new investors.
