I haven’t checked mine in a long time. Is there somewhere online you can get this info at no charge or should I just get my bank to do it?

Chase does it for free via the app if you already bank with them. Credit Karma is also another free service that I use, works well. Shows you the TransUnion and Equifax scores.

Experian has a free tier that lets you see your credit report (only Experian data) and gives you FICO score.
Though be careful, when u login it tries to trick you into upgrading to a paid tier that looks like its free. Just click "No, keep my current membership".

Wish more people understood this!! Being in finance, I cant stand when customers tell me “that’s not what credit karma says” then proceeds to shove their phone in my face.

CK is good for keeping tabs on the actual credit report.
The scoring is useless =)
