I appreciate your sentiment as to the big picture but this kind of pettiness can run effective employees off. I've seen folks leave solid six figure jobs for less (a parking spot once). That's odd that the folks in charge don't get what message they are sending.

The president does and the vp isn't currently seeing anyone but has brought dates before.
These trips are pretty nice - Hawaii several times, Fiji, Aruba, Quebec City, whistler Canada, Victoria, Chicago, Nyc, Boston (this yr), various islands, cabo etc. It's always in a top notch setting Etc.
