So I've been doing the Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum coin for awhile now.
I just downloaded bittrex and curious, do I need to transfer coins or can you do it with USD? From searching their help it only mentions coins.
Also, what is the opinion on Ripple

With Ripple being big banking's coin, I've seen several smart people say they don't like it.
I think you have to buy into Bittrex with coins, not USD. Then you can swap for the other ALTS.

You need to transfer coins, bitcoin or eth will work. If you look on Bittrex, they have markets to buy other coins with both btc and eth.

Just make damn sure to verify that if you are transferring ETH, you are using the ETH deposit address of teh wallet or exchange you are moving it to.
And if moving BTC, you are using the BTC deposit address.
And if moving BTC, you are using the BTC deposit address.

well Dash was a nice ATH surprise to wake up to. New x11 ASICs make a few crypto nerds I follow on twitter very high on DASH and subsequently MUE (supposedly next most developed x11 coin). I still sold this AM for 40% so that I could board the next rocket...
Hopefully PAY does something sooner rather than later
Oh and am I the only one that looks at all these technical guys and their charts and think it's kinda dumb at worst and a sort of self fulfilling prophecy at best?

If you build it, they will come. I miss dash being super shady and going by dark. It was sub $5 then too
I mined crypto for a while, so i actually do buy into all that shite. Equipment and power aren't free, and i truly believe hash power is normally a leading indicator of price.

No I get the mining guys and their predictions based on hash rate or returns/profitability of mining a specific coin. I'm talking about the falling wedges, cup and handle, head and shoulders stuff

Anytime. I'm more than happy to post what I find. I've never understood the secrecy from some. Nor do I understand the folks who always seem to come in after some unexpected pump and tell us all how they got in days ago...just forgot to mention it apparently...

On one hand, some of the predictions pan out and I guess learning the subject pays off. On the other, some of the best peoples forecast ends up completely wrong with their 200 charts and graphs.

I have some Ripple that I"m just holding because there are a lot of smart folks and the banks behind it. Having said that, I think for that very reason people don't like it and me included. Kind of goes against what Bitcoin was created for. I am not adding to it. Just keeping it because they aren't just going to give up their biz to all this crypto stuff.
I think new money would be put to better use on other coins.

Neo went on a textbook head and shoulders this week. There is something behind those charts, it's just not quite the same as stocks. This stuff is too new and too volitile to read exactly like the stock market, but some of the trends still hold up IMO

Been on the road the last few days and listened to a lot of crypto podcasts and they were taking up Stratus, Civic, and DNT. My ETH finally arrived at Coinbase. Ready to buy. Looking to pick up OMG and NEO and maybe head to Liqui and pick up INC.
Any thoughts???
