We bought our house about 6 months ago under market value and have done a complete remodel on it. I’m guessing I have roughly 100k in equity at this point.
I’d like to do a home equity loan and buy real estate with it.
I know people (not very close with) that have had success doing this.
Looking for a couple of good books I could read to get educated before making any moves.
Also any tips or advice would be appreciated.

I did something similar to you. Did a CORF loan. Problem I'm having is finding inventory where there is value. I've looked to wholesellers, sherriffs auctions, MLS and even offers market properties. Everything is priced so high it's hard to find a deal where you will be breaking even with the appraised value After Renovations.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But I'm pretty conservative on my projections and plan to do a majority of the work myself.
And the cheap properties that you want to start with aren't easy to find.
