Any current or former Exxon Baton Rouge empoyees out there?

I have been extended an offer to work at the Exxon plant in Baton Rouge as a engineer. What's it like working for them? The pay is above average, but is it worth it? Raises? 40-50 or 50-60 hour weeks? Any relevant information would be appreciated.

there was a thread on the OT about three weeks ago about a possible strike out there and several employees were posting in the thread. So, you might have better luck either digging up that thread or just starting a new one on the OT.

you're going to have to be more specific...what kind of engineering? which facility? (refinery, chem plant, etc.)
