I used to work next to a guy that got his CFE and he is now an Audit senior at a service firm. He likes what he's doing but i'm pretty sure he'd like to transition into a a more financial risk management role with a big brokerage firm

Got mine in 2009. I work for a top ten public accounting firm. Lots of work with financial institutions on fraud and risk consulting. I also have spent quite a bit of time doing investigations for all kinds of industries.
Largest fraud I have investigating was 160 million and smallest was a few thousand.
Lots of travel and long hours building data analytic tools and combing warehouses full of documents. At least now I supervise most of the detail work. Amazing how few companies prosecute the prepretractors.
