3D printing stocks (DDD, SSYS, AMAVF)

Had a friend tell me 3 years ago tell me to buy 3D printing stocks, and I wish I would've heeded his advice when they were selling for about 10/share. Saw that DDD and AMAVF had a substantial drop early 2014, and while SSYS has been on the decline, it seems to be the most stable. Again, I'm new to the stock market (kind of overwhelmed, but am learning slowly), and am really intrigued to the potential these companies have.
Anyone have sound advice or knowledge about any of these companies and their outlook? Would love to invest heavily in one of these options.

So you wish you would have bought at a low point and sold at a high point. Interesting strategy...
