Shouldn't have been on the list after the bullshite he pulled at their camp.

And is still there despite going 16/41 at LSU.

The list:

Tajh Boyd, Sr., Clemson
Teddy Bridgewater, Jr., Louisville
Derek Carr, Sr., Fresno State
Jordan Lynch, Sr., Northern Illinois
Johnny Manziel, So., Texas A&M
Marcus Mariota, So., Oregon
AJ McCarron, Sr., Alabama
Aaron Murray, Sr., Georgia
Bryce Petty, Jr., Baylor
Jameis Winston, Fr., Florida State

God! I'm so tired of McCarron making these lists.. Does no one see that it's ridiculous??

The average touchdowns of this group (minus McCarron) is 31.
The average yardage of this group (minus McCarron) is 3623

McCarron? 23 touchdowns 2399 yards..
I swear.. if he wins the heisman people will be like.. "wait what? QB? that must be a typo. I'm sure he was a RB or WR"

I personally think he's better than McCarron.

I think so too. He'll have a chance to prove it at the next level.

He shite the bed 1st half Ole Miss. I think had he just played average for that game he's in there.

Then why is Mariota on there? He shite the sheets more than once this season after being a Heisman leader at one point.

That list is pretty legit. Those guys mean everything to their team(no disrespect to mett). Any of those teams, with the exception of maybe bama, dont win near as many gamss this year without them. I know mett went off this year and hes probably going to be a top 2-5 qb taken but this list doesn't bother me

The only guys I see Mett above on that list are Bridgewater and Marriotta (with the way he's played recently). I understand the gripe about McCaron, but I understand why he's on the list as well. His team is in an unprecedented position and he lead them there. Where as Mett pretty much took us out of the Ole Miss game.....that would have made a difference IMO.

Didn't Manziel shite the bed against us? JFF's performance Saturday was worse than Mett's struggle against Ole Miss

If Ajax is the QB at UGA LSU wins that game. Ajax is a game manager just like MM & MF were at LSU. Ajax wii be regulated to a radio show in gump land just like those other game managers.

Boyd - puts up big numbers against mostly nobodys
Bridgewater - big stats against high school teams
Carr - plays no one real week-to-week
Lynch - same as the aforementioned 3 QBs
Manziel - puts up numbers against "real" defenses, however has a bit of off-the-field ego issues.
Mariota - plays in a video game offense against absolutely 0 defense.
McCarron - as much as I hate the guy he plays consistently well against real teams.
Murray - has only a few signature wins under his belt and choked the rest away.
Petty - again, a video game offense QB who doesn't play against a real defense.
Winston - ran rough shot through the ACC ... that should tell you enough.

Mett is easily better than 5+ of these guys. frickin shame. he'll be great in the NFL either way.

Physically, there is no doubt Mett is superior. Before this season, I would have said he didn't play well in big games, but he played well against UGA and A&M. I also gained a lot of respect for him after our game.

Have to say, that's a pretty good list. Almost all those guys will be going pro

Nothing to get excited over, the list is basically a popularity event. Several Heisman contenders, the 2-time BCS champ, and the obligatory smaller school guys (Lynch, Carr). You could argue that some guys out of the Pac 12 were overlooked too, if you wanted to.

I expect Mett to be a better pro prospect than most on that list; I do think Carr is probably the best of the bunch (long-term).

Another reason to hate the Mannings

I don't know how much Archie's "let's put it nicely" not liking of LSU had to play in this, but no matter what people think Archie does have huge influence and he doesn't like LSU plain and simple. I know this because I know the man personally.

I'm thinking because at least LSU is respectable, so the fact that JM crapped out against us isn't too big of a surprise.
Muttonchops blew d against Ole Miss' second and third string team which looked a lot worse.
