Getting blown the frick out with a rookie QB at home 36-7 by a crappy team ... is way better than getting blown the frick out with a seasoned veteran $20Million per year QB at home 41-10 by a crappy team.

There is a reason they are 2-10. I was at the Titans/Texans game and their defense (and OL for that matter) is really atrocious.

And i was telling my Texans friends they should have nabbed Mett, hed be perfect for their team rt now.

and Tennessee may have the worst OL in the league

At full strength they actually are pretty decent, could be great in run blocking.

Their Defense is atrocious this year, will probably focus on improving that side of the ball.

They have some (very few) really nice young weapons in Kendall Wright (now hurt) and Bishop Sankey, but they still need alot of help to make a decent supporting cast.

They will probably end up with a top 3 pick, so they'll get alot better quick. The jury is still out though on whether they will stick with Mett or shoot for a QB with their first pick.

Considering he had a better Oline and WRS at LSU than he does with the titans he's not doing all that bad

He has no help. None. No good wrs, rbs and the titans spend top 5 pick on fricking guards

I've watched him play 3 times.
He looks fine to me... Yeah he can work on those things mentioned.
He's a fricking rookie.

Everybody wants perfect. Now.

He shows more promise than Locker.

Said it from the very beginning, give him time, he will tear apart secondaries. Put pressure on him, he folds like a tent. He NEEDS a great OL, period.

is there a QB that does very well with a bad oline?

can you find me one?

There is a reason why players who can get to the QB get paid a premium. Because it makes QBs play worse.

The Titans Oline isn't just not great, they are down right bad.

Wesseling's kind of a fat-arse, opinion piece guy. I read his stuff on NFL.com and he can be entertaining but he's a little in over his skies with the mechanics analysis. And no one other than coaches, no one watches more film than Cosell so there's that.

Cosell is one of the most highly regarded film analysts, wesseling is a glorified blogger though i like his work.

Id say for a 7th rounder mett held his own. He has one of the best qb coaches in the business in whisenhunt, just needs some protection and more weapons

Honestly I kind of hope that the Titans try to get Amari Cooper.
