Not bad company at all up there.

Mett can compete for a NFL starting gig. He has NFL arm talent. He just needs to stop locking onto receivers.

Would love for him to go to Zona or the Texans with those beastly receivers

Zach Mettenberger will go down in LSU history to be one of the greatest QBs to ever play here. It's a shame the best his record can be here is 20-6

No need for a Heisman watch. AJ has this in the bag.

Nothing against Zach but if he could move he would be so much better.

I agree

if he couldn't throw, he would be so much worse.

I stand by he will be the best NFL QB out of the SEC this year. Has the height, arm and touch.

If this is the same qbr espn uses, this means nothing. Horrible, horrible rating system.

Haha the freaking Bama fans on the comments section think this is a subjective top 5 ranking. They're all crying about AJ winning games and titles

They're all clueless

Great for ZM and LSU. At least you've got THAT going for you..

Er... why hasn't he ever won a game with a late drive ... and why does he throw so many interceptions when pressured (should have given up 4-5 in Alabama game), and why can't he seem to check down, or find his secondary or tertiary receivers? And why does JJ have a better winning percentage as a starter?

Oh well, he is going to be the greatest QB to come from the SEC since... Manning.... or something.

has had 1 opportunity to do it in his career and we didn't pick up the block. Your QB's done it once against a team who gives up 2 minute TDs like no one else

he's threw 7 interceptions last year and 7 this year. He only throws ints against ole miss and was playing hurt

yet he didn't throw any vs Bama in 2 years while completing 69% of his passes and throwing for 539 yards. Anyone who thinks he is LSU's problem knows absolutely nothing about football. He's been our bright spot
