I don't think we see him until the Syracuse game and that will be in limited capacity. His first full game back will likely be Troy leading up to kicking some gator arse.

Rashard Lawrence is out this week
I wonder if that puts D. Clark as starting end. He's next up on depth chart at Lawrence's spot, but this could result in some other shuffling. Will be interesting to see since Clark rarely plays.

I don't like that Key and Lawrence are out, obviously, but it will be nice to get the young guys we will likely need later some reps early. Chiasson will be a damn veteran by the time Key gets back( ), and Farrell, Logan, and Thomas will get some good work on the line along with Clark.

My guess is that Greg Logan will start in Lawrence's spot.

Arden is obviously a bit heavy. His stomach looks like he just ate at a buffet. Let him take his time and get back. It's understandable due to his injury, but Key is clearly a bit out of shape right now.

"..Save him for a big game. And don't ruin his career!!"...

If possible, save him till game 5------then fully ready for game 6.........

needs a few snaps this week to get back in the routine/speed of a game if he is ready to go.

He sacked Dak early in his first career game. I think he'll be fine either way

I'll be shocked if you see Key's before the Troy game. From what I've heard the family doctor is not going to release him till Troy and the family agrees with that.So he'll work some rust off vs Troy and then be ready to go vs Florida.

State has an average line so no need to rush that soon and the Syracuse OL is even worse.

Well prepare to be shocked because he will play against moo state. On Monday we'll hear Coach O say "We're taking it one practice at a time and it will be a game time decision...,, etc etc" and we will see him playing in Starkville. Coach O and his staff will not take moo state lightly. Don't think that will be an easy win.

I agree. Key is going to be essential to whether or not we have a good year this year. But we don't need him against 'Cuse and we don't need him against State. I don't like to criticize coaches for these kinds of decisions because obviously they have more info than us, but if there is any question at all, I just hope they err on the side of caution.
