this is a damn strong team lsu has fielded..i would love to play 2..3..4 or more games with this squad. playing ga is an opportunity to see the best lsu team ever play another top team ...and crush them.
who cares what al has to say or how many times we have to beat them; playing a top 15 ga is the icing on the cake before we take 4 weeks off and curb stop the tide.

No, you're looking at it all wrong. LSU fans are happy to be playing for the SEC Championship. The problem is Bama getting a pass, essentially penalizing LSU for beating them.

Yep. I think the fans lose sight that an SEC Championship is a major goal for these players and they want to get that banner! It's a privilege to play in the SEC champ game not a punishment. I do acknowledge however that we risk injury while BAMA sits on their asses but NOTHING will change the fact that LSU would be 2011 SEC Champions regardless of the outcome of the NC game.

i get that. but i dont care; we cant control what voters do for the 'also ran'..who gives a crap? we'll beat bama more soundly this time and we get more experience points by playing another scrimmage in GA

No doubt, this is a seriously strong LSU team. But you are on crack if you want to see any part of Alabama again. Just my opinion, and I wouldn't fear them, but still they have a serious D who can wreak havoc on our qb's, such as they are.

Thing to consider. Alabama can only practice 15 times from yesterday to the bowl game. The last time a team took that much time off......Ohio State 2006/2007. The SECCG is a big deal. It allows LSU to practice another week and develop the offense. In case you hadn't noticed, LSU's offense is looking a little different than it did even from the Bama game. LSU will beat BAMA in the dome.
