Because sanctions are most likely coming down the pike, I’ll go with Archie Miller.

P5 experience, decent name recognition, currently available and would probably welcome a P5 gig with low pressure.

Calling this is going be tough. I don’t think Woody will be able to follow his usual MO given the circumstances. Hope I’m wrong on that though.

Let’s hear your predictions.

Dude is 43. Way too young for Woodward.

Shooting for the moon: Tony Bennett or Dan Hurley.

More realistic: Scott McCasland (North Texas) or Golden from San Francisco.

An Avery Johnson type of coach. Former SEC guy that was average that wants back in. He can be gotten rid of in 3 years after we paid our dues, if he doesn’t work out. LSU board and administrators would approve.

I personally am not a fan, but I could see them moving in this direction.

Tubby Smith. Dude is old, but he is available and is a former national champion. Bring him in to weather the probation time and train someone under him to take over. Wouldn't be my first choice, but knowing how Woodie shoots for older successful coaches I think he might be in play. I could see him mentoring Tas to take over in a couple of seasons.

My personal wish is for Bennett though. He seems to have plateaued at Virginia and is similar in mold to what Woodie shoots for.

Dennis Gates or Jerome Tang

Which is funny on Tang for anyone who knows anything about Texas basketball recruiting. He makes Wade look like a choir boy.
