I will toss out a loss, Basketball one @ that. I was an out of state student and had been to a season or so of football and was getting hooked.
It was Dale Browns next to last year and UK had their standard top ranked team. We got our butts handed to us up and down the court, they killed us. However, with about a minute left in the game (still losing by 20+) Fans left in the p-mac started to chant LSU, LSU, LSU... it got VERY loud
The UK bench and fans just looked at us like we were insane, maybe we were... after the game Brown took the mike to thank the crowd.
First time I knew that LSU was more than just another school.

ps: the two NC and entire 2011 season (even the loss... was a GREAT ride, honestly something poetic about the loss and not being perfect.)

too difficult to select one - - bringing my daughter to her first Football game (Arkansas last year) was pretty cool.
The LSU vs. Loyola Maramount Basketball Game was unbelievable to witness. Only team I have ever seen warm up with jump ropes.

ole miss 2011 has to be at top of my list. my friend came over to watch the game and he died the next week. morning of arkansas game. it was a good 5 hr visit. we had season tickets together since 95.
