Honestly, Arkansas is a pretty solid team. Their starting pitching may not be dominant, but they are serviceable enough to win a lot of games. We are probably a lucky break away from a sweep. And a bad break away from losing 2 of 3

We sweep the Swine!!
It’s their first true road trip.
DVH is messing up moving Smith out of the starting role
We should be pissed we blew the Sunday game against A&M
We can’t get Umps with a mobile coke can sized zone two weekends in a row (right?
)
The Box is and plays way bigger than Baum
We’re doing a great job running starters and their bullpen is very shaky right now.
And lastly, the Hogs said they’re not going to depend on the HR as much this year as the last few and yet here they are, just as dependent on it for scoring. Since our starters are amongst the best at not giving up HR’s… Break out the brooms!

Not impossible, but all 3 of those teams got swept on the road. We were the only SEC team to win a road series last weekend. Not that that will have any bearing on what happens the rest of the way. But I’d be very surprised—and impressed—if Arkansas comes here in their 1st road series of the season and sweeps the #1 team in the country.
But Arkansas is good, baseball is a crazy game, and stranger things have happened. Hard to imagine all the things going well for them and against us that it would take for it to, though.
Skenes is just such a huge advantage taking the pill every Friday (and a couple Thursdays). Pretty much an auto win and sets our bullpen up for the rest of the series. Will be really hard for anybody to sweep us.
