Florida and Arkansas are messes right now.
Auburn is Auburn.
Manziel and Mike Evans will be gone.

Since it seems the shitty teams LSU plays at home is a large part of the problem, then how does that explain only 78K for Florida, a major SEC conference opponent? Too hot? I am born & raised here & it's always been hot in Sept & Oct. 2:30 kickoff time? This has been a fact going on well over a decade now. I just chalk it up to poor fans in general. Obviously, since all the SEC's athletic depts are studying this problem ( according to the article in today's Advocate) it's a problem everywhere. Gawd save us from a poor yr record wise.

How about you put a little blame on the game day management at LSU. It's a pain in the arse getting to campus, pain in the arse parking, pain in the arse getting in the stadium, concessions suck once you get in the stadium, and after the game is over, it's a pain in the arse getting off campus.

LSU obviously plays a part in poor attendance. But a lot of what you are listing here as problems have been in existence for yrs and yrs now. Traffic is & always will be a problem, but that applies for any major activity in any sport or location. Speaking only for myself & my family/friends, I solve it by getting there earlier & tailgating afterwards till traffic clears. From the article in the paper, JA was studying aerial photos of the congestion at the gates, so at least he is aware of it & presumably working on correcting it.

And also, it is a SEC rule that Bama does not have to play Florida. When it's their turn to play Florida, SEC office makes LSU play them twice.

Next year Bama picks up Florida and we drop Georgia to get Kentucky.

All of my co-workers that went there are pumped for this game and will be making the trip. I imagine there will be a good deal of their alumni at this one.

I hear people tout the reasons given for playing in NFL stadiums at neutral sites. It expands our recruiting base. It gets these kids the chance to play in an NFL stadium. It gets the team in front of a lot of alumni.

personally, that is all bullshite. It's COLLEGE FOOTBALL. It needs to be played in COLLEGE STADIUMS. If these kids want to play in an NFL stadium, there are plenty of bowl games played in NFL stadiums, or, if they are good enough, they will play on Sundays after graduation.

I am planning to go to Green Bay for the Wisconsin game in 2016, but I would much rather see that game at Camp Randall Stadium. Similarly, I would be in Tiger Stadium if we played Wisconsin there, but I have zero desire to go watch that game be played in Texas.

What do you think it will look like next year with these home games?

Sept. 6 Sam Houston State, Baton Rouge
Sept. 13 Louisiana-Monroe, Baton Rouge
Sept. 20 Mississippi State, Baton Rouge
Sept. 27 New Mexico State, Baton Rouge
Oct. 18 Kentucky, Baton Rouge
Oct. 25 Ole Miss, Baton Rouge
Nov. 8 Alabama, Baton Rouge

That's what you get when you give up your best out of conference game to Houston.

Doesn't matter. If we had good SEC home schedule the games would get played in the 230 slot and then the pussies on this board would complain that it's too hot and they want night games. Basically they're always unhappy miserable pussies.

Next year I am thinking of going to first home game to see the new section that will be above my seats and Bama. I will probably sell the rest and stay at home.

My four season tickets and RV pass in TD Village 1 will be used for Mississippi St., Ole Miss and Alabama and will be sold for the remainder of the season. I'm a life long LSU fan, but that 500 mile round trip is not worth it for the rest of this schedule. I always sell at face value.
