I don't see how he's going to be at a disadvantage against a TE. They aren't going to be faster. They may be bigger but with his speed and size he will not be taken advantage of at all.

Just height.

He is not a tall LB.

He did have a 39.5 vert tho... Just saying kid is a freak athlete and freak athletes don't get picked on too often. Specially not 240 lb linebackers who run in the 4.4s

I guess it's wishful thinking that the Saints draft him in the first round. (Will probably be gone that far down in the 1st, but you never know)

DW in the 1st, then grab another Wisconsin OL in the 2nd to shore up the OL.

He also instituted the LSU Leadership Committee or whatever on the team

They had this before he was even old enough to be recruited.

This kid is something special. If he stays health, destined for the HOF; could make it at a few positions !

I’ve had a top 5 players of the Championship era list for a long time, but it’s getting too tough now, have to make a top 5 offense and defense:

Offense:
1. Josh Reed
2. Leonard Fournette
3. Jarvis Landry
4. Jamarcus Russell
5. Rohan Davey (Burrow on his heels )

Defense:
1. Tyrann Mathieu
2. Marcus Spears
3. Laron Landry
4. Devin White
5. Bradie James (Delpit comin atcha)

Yeah I know we haven’t won a championship during some of those players’ time, like LF and DW, but just meant basically since Saban and the turn of the century.

Dude height can be taken away with good technique and aggressive play or being this naturally strong athlete which he is. Height means nothing as long as you know how to play guy with it and are athletic enough to stay with them while the pass is in the air. You can rip through the catch or rough them up or both. You can affect the pass by getting in the passing lane. He will be plenty good enough to be an elite NFL LB on every level. He can cover backs and even some WRs also.

Little premature to be saying he’s HOF material. The NFL is a completely different animal where every player is an exceptional athlete.

Last night on the local news in Denver a sportscaster said "Devin White from LSU was so fast in the 40 that he probably ran right past the Broncos' #10 pick to #6 or 7."
