Don't ban me rummy.

Altering a contract, and don't even say he may not have known because this is one of the things that's almost entirely exclusive to his job, is unforgivable.

This sends a loud and clear message to any coach or potential coach who works for LSU that they can't trust their boss. A lot of you want Miles gone, but this affects Orgeron (who is said to be negotiating a new deal as we speak), every other assistant who will be coming up for a contract soon, and... a potential new HC next year.

Firing Alleva now allows two things to happen. First, it sheds a bit of the lame duck label that has been applied to the staff as the guy who organized the coup is gone. Secondly, it brings in an AD who has no baggage with Miles, and who is free to make a decision about him after next season which can easily be explained as wanting his own hire in place. Fire Joe now, and you have a couple months to explain to recruits that things are different. If next year doesn't work out, you have the guy in place who can fire him.

All I want for Christmas is Alleva's arse out the door.

My only regret is that I have but one up-vote to give.

The board may like having a puppet like Alleva in that position.

Telling the truth isn't a smear campaign.

The altering better have been something like correcting "your" for "you're".

If it's any way material.. this is way beyond fricked.

Been wanting that since before the tamu game. He's totally incompetent. How can you sue someone with fabricated information? He might as well called and injury attorney and put on a neckbrace with that act.

1. Fire Alleva
2. Promote Miles to AD
3. Hire Herman

Advocate reporting that the buyout section of the contract specifically was altered. This is absolutely damning for ole Joe.

Since I doubt the Board of Supervisors would fire Alleva, that only leaves one individual with the power to do so - our good friend King Alexander.

Given that Alexander has clearly demonstrated that he isn't willing to do what is best for LSU athletics, I truly doubt he has the willingness and conviction to fire Joe.

He probably knew a year ago that we altered the parameters of Chavis' contract after both parties signed.

Joe, if you're reading this right now, please go frick yourself instead of my alma mater. You are barely qualified to manage a Blockbuster Video location much less a major college athletic department.

I've thought about this, and it actually gives me a little hope. This could be a sign LSU is pulling the plug on Alleva. LSU filed a document that admitted to altering the contract, it was not something a judge ruled on after seeing the evidence.
