You could argue that this was the worst loss in the Miles era

This is only the 2nd time that LSU has been shut out under Miles
We all remember the other time
In the BCS Championship, it was on a big stage and hurt more sure, but it was also against the top-rated defense
Last night, LSU got shut out by a team who was 0-17 in the SEC coming into the game and not exactly setting the world on fire. The Hogs defense ranks 22nd and I'm sure moved up 10 places after last night.

Here are the 15 worst offensive performances under Miles. 3 of the 15 are this season.

How does this loss rank in the Miles era

It was unwatchable and I'm not a negative fan by any stretch. I Expected a flat team but that was ridiculous.

It was as bad if not worse than 1/9. Consider who we were playing last night and who we thought we were after ole miss and Bama.

You're right. Arkansas was a great team. They've just been losing to greater teams over the last two years and that's why they couldn't get that a W in the SEC.

LSU had -1 yard in the 1st quarter and ended up with 123. I don't know what these people want. The offensive production went up a gazillion % after the first quarter. Our offense didn't even feel the cold after the 1st quarter because we was on fiya.

Yup. Pretty damn disheartening.

we were just dominated by a team that hadn't won a game in the SEC since 2012

in terms of scope it's irrelevant, b/c our season was already over, but it's not far from 1-9-12 and if you adjust for opponent, it's much worse

Uhh, if being shutout by a team that hasn't won an SEC game in 2 years isn't a cause for concern, please point me to a scenario that is.

This is a huge loss. A loss that puts us at a fork in the road.

Les either realizes some things need to change and addresses the issues and we improve and use this amazing young core of players we have to get back to the top - or he continues to wallow around and sit on his arse as we run the program into a state of eternal mediocrity. We shall see. I'll keep watching and keep the faith.

1/9 will never be diminished, easily the most embarrassing public displays of shitocracy ever.

Had the coaches put Harris in my feelings wouldn't be as bad. The team obv didn't really care that much and the ol was horrendous injuries aside.

Man that's a lot of bad offense we've seen through the years with a lot of NFL talent

This is what killed me. Just a piss-poor (at best) effort. Jennings, as bad as he played, was the only one on offense that appeared to give half a shite.

Same here. The whole argument for starting Jennings the rest of the season was he gives us the best chance to win today. Don't give up on the season and throw Harris to the wolves, let Jennings squeak out wins to preserve the season. That's basically what Jennings apologists have been saying, myself included.

Well that whole theory was thoroughly debunked last night, and it was apparent by halftime. Jennings does not give us any better chance to win than any possible player you could put at QB. You could've put ME in at QB and I would've given us as good of a chance to win as Jennings did. There's simply no logical reason that Harris did not see the field.

The team didn't have much to play for, and it was well below freezing. It's hard to be motivated when it's that cold. It looks like the worst on paper, but considering how cold it was, I wouldn't say it was the worst. 1/9 still the worst. With how many people were watching, a month to prepare, and we couldn't cross the 50 yard line. It probably can't be worse than that.

Not sure it was the "worst loss", but I do thing it's CLM's worst job as a coach, if that's what you meant.
