Although TM7 is the "best"

I think the answer is Ryan P. If he played out the rest of his career at LSU.....may have won a championship (imo).

Also..and more importantly Lee is never rushed to play early and get his confidence destroyed. Instead he starts as a JR. and LSU has a better shot at winning the NC this past season. (No way Les pulls a proven, no shellshocked Lee would he?"

The downside? Jordan Jefferson would be a RS SR. and could very well be starting this year.

It would have been awesome to see Cecil finish his career at LSU also. But Ryan P was the most hurtful loss imo.

We still had Kevin Faulk and Rondell Mealey when he got booted.

I think Perrilloux's the clear answer. If he never gets kicked off the team, we never have the losses of the '08-'09 seasons, and Miles probably would've never had a season where he finished outside the top ten.

Yep. I think RP as well.

With that said.......WOW that would have been a deadly backfield of Collins/Faulk/Mealey.

While I agree with this statement. I still gotta go with Cecil Collins. I would of loved to see what he could of done over the course of a career. Would hate to see K. Faulk be a backup though(and yes, I think he would)

Cecil.
The way he was running in that 97 Auburn game, even though we lost, he showed that night he would've been the real deal.

RP easily. He had the biggest impact on the future success, or lack thereof, of the program.

Losing him sent us into a bit of a tailspit.

Cecil was, in my opinion, clearly the best player of the three; however, Perrilloux was clearly the most important. Perrilloux staying may have added another crystal trophy to our athletic building.

Cecil was the best of the 3. Some younger posters just don't understand. But LSU had other good RBs.

The easy answer is RP--although I guess we don't yet know how losing TM will affect us.

Would RP have been on the 09 team? Bc even with a good QB, the 08 defense was pitiful. But the 09 team would've contended with RP. Def wouldve beaten Bama.

2 Times on 3rd and 2/5...one with 10 min in the game. The other with 3 min left. Didn't feed him the Ball.

3rd Down 9:00 min mark
