Nope, I'd actually rather him than Omar Speights.

What a novel way to criticize the character of an LSU player. The other team didn’t like his bravado? He didn’t play that poorly. And there were indeed Wisconsin players wearing some stink as well.

Burns is a plug just like 75% of the defense that was trotted onto the field this year.

Even when trying to defend him all you can muster is that he didn't play that poorly.

He sure likes to talk just wish he could back it up. Often times he does not. Miss the days of LSU Safeties that talked the talk but backed it up with great play aka : Honeybadger, Jamal adams etc.. Burns is not even close to that level.

looked like a clown. Call me old school but i am tired of a celebration after every 1st down, tackle, incomplete pass...even when as a db you were beat.

Reminds me of a story from the late Mississippi story-teller, Jerry Clower. He boasted about his playing days at Mississippi State when he proudly stated, " I am tha man whut Travis Tidwell gained 27 yards runnin' backwards over!!"

Life’s short. If you have muscles, you flex those muscles. Flex like nobody’s watching.

He takes bad angles and misses tackles constantly, leading to huge gains against our defense. Then he'll tackle someone after a positive gain and flex on them.

It's irritating as frick, for sure.

You mean people aren’t intimidated when his scrawny arse flexes up after making a tackle 15 yards downfield?

Dude, he wears one of those collars. You better show some respect.

He’s not the only one. I saw Sage Ryan look foolish doing it a few times yesterday. Don’t even get me started on Jacobian Guillory.

After a double digit loss and the defense giving up 500+ yards he decides to post this

I saw some dirty players from Wiscy yesterday. That shoving at the goal line before LSU o-line was set, was ridiculous at best.

Due to a serious neck injury I think, right? I'll let that part slide

Burns looked absolutely pathetic on that 33 yd td run to put Wisky up 28-14

This. I feel like that play got lost in the shuffle of the game. It was one of the worst run fits I've ever seen in my life. He never got within 5 yards of the RB. It makes me wonder how many of those he had throughout the year. Wild. I wish I could gif the play to show just how awful it was.

I thought he made most of the tackles.

I’d love to see the evidence of where that very small, flexible collar provides any real protection.

I won't be the one to give it!

Just saying, I think that is the reason. But could wrong. Maybe it's one of those things where it gives him confidence to make tackles even if it doesn't help - placebo confidence.

Maybe we should take it off, he might have too much confidence considering his play

That shoving at the goal line before LSU o-line was set, was ridiculous at best. It was bush league, but trying to save a time out and get substitutes. The refs did not have it in their let them win book. The refs took their sweet time throwing a flag.

if we are remembering the same play they were trying to get an offsides penalty to change out personnel. The refs are true idiots to have let it go on so long without blowing the whistle and throwing a flag.
