and here's minor dribbling the ball up the court... takes a 40 foot jumper (mind you he's probably AT MOST 25 feet away) and it's no good.

Usually people make fun of other people to hide the fact that they suck at life and are a huge disappointment to the human race. Monkeys probably laugh at them at the zoo realizing their pathetic existence is worse than eating their own vomit in public. As much as people make fun of him, he probably has accomplished more than those laughing and leads a happy life while those ridiculing him are merely arse clowns looking for cheap laughs to somehow fill a void left by their inadequacies .

This is how I viewed it. I was really giggling like crazy even a couple of hours later. The guy who did it was probably around 30 years old and either had a rednecky accent or put on a fake rednecky accent to imitate Hawthorne.

That's pretty douchey. I was going so bonkers after Dev caught it, I probably would've blown the call live too. I'd be a little disappointed in Hawthorne though if he couldn't find some humor in it.

if shite like that pisses you off, then you're either...
1) perfect
2) a douche
3) have no life
4) need serious meds
5) someone who should reevaluate your priorities in life, which you cannot possibly do without serious meds
6) all of the above

thank you for playing...

About the same as a grown person getting in another grown person's face and yelling Tiger Bait.

Careful S, apparently you're a douche who needs to reevaluate his life if you point out any of this dudes mistakes around here. Teflon Jim

Time to pass the torch to someone new (like Hanagriff for baseball

I hope we get someone else in there besides Hannagriff. Ever hear him try to sound excited during a big play? Too forced. The dude is Eeeeor all day long and then we hit a homer and now he's Al Michaels? No. Not buying it. I cannot imagine who would do baseball, but I sure hope it'[s not him. There's only so much of, "look...folks...this is just common knowledge, ok?" He and Ott and D.P. need to stick to noon talkshows in random locations in Gonzales and Walker and Hannagriff talking about what he's going to order for lunch. As bad as Jim is, we can do better than Charles.

The understatement of the year. He should sell tapes of himself speaking for people who have trouble falling asleep. The tapes only need to be 3 or 4 minutes long. Anything longer would them in a coma.

I can't remember which game it was, but whoever it was had the ball in the final seconds and took 2 or 3 3 pointers on one possession while they were down by 3. On all those shots, he kept saying, "FOR THE LEAD!!!"

I kind of wish Bill Franques didn't do PA for home baseball games, I really like the work he does when we play on the road.

Franques should have replaced Kevin "High School" Ford as the football pre-game and post-game studio host many many years ago. He has an excellent broadcast voice and does not embarrass the university when he's on the air like Ford does. Ford is amazingly incompetent. It's even more amazing that he returns each season. The LSUAD powers must not listen to any of their own football broadcasts. Guess they're just too busy with their game day duties to tune in.

BTW, how in holy name do you confuse Devery Henderson, (A black wide receiver) with Jack Hunt? (A white safety) Has anybody ever heard Hawthorne explain how he made this historical on-air blunder? I remember that Hunt was a WR (#83) until Saban moved him to Safety to be the QB of his defensive system.

To this day, every time Henderson catches a pass for the Saints, I think about Jim's call of the Bluegrass Miracle.
