If LSU finished terribly in 2016 and was invited to the WeedEater- would he play?

"Big potential" is the only comparison here. Move along.

If you played for this coach and with these teammates averaged 19.2 points a game, 11.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2 steals only to be put down by the fans of said team and the media locally and nationally and then play in a tournament that means nothing you are going to lose and give more ammunition to these people right before signing a contract worth millions of dollars would you play?

I hope you're ready, because this could well happen.

Leonard Fournette would not disappear late in a game. If the team needed a guy to tough it out for them on the ground, I guarantee you, Fournette would be asking....begging for the ball. I did NOT see that from Simmons this year. I did not see him get tough with those guys guarding him.

He did look nice on his coast to coast plays though...but I NEVER saw him fight for a big rebound, I never saw him push a guy around. I've seen Shaq do it, I've seen Big Baby and Tyrus Thomas do it. I watched Ricky Blanton in 1986 take on guys bigger and more talented than him and BREAK them. I NEVER saw it with Simmons.
