Spencer Ware is the battering Ram, not Mike Ford.
He does remember who patrick peterson is because PP7 has a PR TD last year.
They will not hold LSU to 13 pts LOL
Jarrett Lee does not blow arse on 3rd down, ask Florida, Tennesee, or Mississipi state.
Geno's stat line won't read much different than it did last year.
WVU offese is not better than Oregons although different, you don't exactly beat a amazing secondardy and d-line with throwin the ball 40 times. You counter it with running , and they don't have much of a running game.
WVU keeps it close, and in the 3rd quarter we will seperate ourselves.
R. Shep returns to score on 2 big td plays. 28-17 LSU

Half arse tryin to give their fans some prespective on LSU.
His final prediction was WVU 16 - 13.
When Maryland & Marshall put up well over 13 pts.
Maryland put up 21+ in the second half alone.
He has a case of homerism and made an awful prediction. WVU will need over 21 pts to beat us.
We had no offense last year in that game and still put up 20.

WVU is a better matchup against LSU then Oregon was. WVU just needs to avoid the dinking and dunking because that strategy plays right into the hands of Chavis. You need big plays down the field and make Jarret Lee win the game by making him deliver the ball in tight windows.

part 1
All right here we go the one and only always ridiculed never forwarded “Southies Half arse Game Break Down”. I took some good notes while watching the Oregon and MSU game. The first thing that comes to mind is “how the hell are they allowed to have 19 guys on the field when their on defense”. Oh that’s only 11, well hell. It’s scary folks, down right nasty. But so was Miami in 93. This is big for us which doesn’t need to be stated. This is highest ranked team to roll into Morgantown since VT back in 03 and we all know what happened that night. Word is the city had a budget deficit that year because they had to replenish all that pepper spray that was dispersed that night I know we all love having Game Day on campus but I would much rather have this game on a Thursday night. I’m not sure what our Thursday night home record is but I can’t remember a loss. If someone can please let me know. But it’s not and we have game day and the nation’s attention. My call to fans is DON’T MAKE US LOOK LIKE A JACK arse ON GAME DAY. I know Corso is a penis, so does the rest of the nation outside of Columbus Ohio, please don’t put up a sign reminding us. But have fun don’t be cordial and make lot’s of noise.
First we’ll start with the offense because I’m a good news first kind of guy. These guys will bore you to death. They will grind and grind and grind punt and let their D rape your arse. It’s not sexy but very effective. The O-Line is just simply solid. They rarely make a mistake. By that I mean leave a guy uncovered, screw up assignments or get beat bad. Their not unbeatable but I bet you rarely hear their fans dog cuss these guys like we have ours in the past. Not bad depth either. Chris Faulk a sophomore and the starting left tackle who’s damn good but went down in the first quarter of the MSU game. He was replaced by Senior Greg Shaw and he looked better then Faulk. I don’t know if Faulk came back in the game or will be good to go on Saturday but regardless who’s in there Bruce will have his hands full. The talent of the O-Line leads to a very good running game. They have two running backs that could start anywhere in the country outside of South Carolina and San Diego State. #11 Spencer Ware starts but splits the carries with #42 Michael Ford. Both are cut from the same cloth. Big power backs that can move. Ware appears to be the faster of the two but Ford is a major battering ram. He impressed me more then Ware in the Ducks game but that’s like a new Mustang impressing me more the a new Camaro, I’ll take either one. Keeping these guys in check on 1st and 2nd down is key to how good QB Jarrett Lee will be. Lee will never be mistaken for Bert Jones but is very efficient when he doesn’t have to be. Confused, well according to ESPN.com most of his yards come on 1st and 2nd down. When he’s put in a 3rd and more then 5 he appeared to struggle. MSU had good success on 3rd and long to medium by dropping guys into coverage and not blitzing. But the problem is keeping LSU at bay on 1st and 2nd down. This is my fear for us. Fairyland ripped us to shreds in the second half running the ball and we have had some issues in the past of getting a team off the field that has a strong power running game. When Lee is throwing the ball it’s no secret who he’s throwing to, Rueben Randle. Besides Randle look out for #33 Freshman Odell Beckham who is going to be a beast, and I’m assuming Russell Sheppard. As stated before Lee has success on 1st and 2nd down because he get’s rid of the ball quickly and lets those guys do their thing. He did have the one nice throw to the endzone to Randle late in the game. In this game you have to be patient. Don’t get upset when LSU is driving down the field. They will get their yards from the 30 to the 40. It will be classic Jeff Casteel Defense, bend but don’t break. I see us keeping them under 300 yards total offense and 1 TD and 2 field goals leaving LSU’s final point total at the end of the game at 13.

Now we have to figure out how we can put 14 points on the best defense this school has faced since the Miami days of old. Last week I said don’t mistake Fairyland for 95 Nebraska. Well when it comes to defense these guys would have sent Tommy Frazier and crew to the locker room crying. The experts put all the accolades on the front 7 but it’s the secondary that stands out to me. They don’t use these guys in traditional positions. They have 2 safeties and 2 corners but they can line up anywhere on the field. #7 CB Tyrann Mathieu is a beast. This guy will cover your best WR man to man, or he may lineup in the box and rush from the outside. When the ball is in the air it appears this guy will be waiting on it. The leader of this D is no doubt #17 Morris Claiborne. He got a lot of work last year as no one would throw to that other corner they had, can’t remember his name, Patson, Peters, ah who cares. Claiborne and Mathieu is the best CB tandem in the country and one of the best ever. #24 Tharold Simon and #1 Eric Reid along with #18 Brandon Taylor make up the rest of the defensive backfield. It’s hard to differentiate between their safeties and their linebackers. #22 Ryan Baker appears to be the lynch pin of the LB core. But again don’t get caught up in who’s a LB, who’s a safety and who’s a corner. They will line up all over the place and fly to the ball. In the MSU game they stacked the box and stuffed the run as to dare MSU to pass. The only success MSU had running the ball was the QB ISO up the middle. Don’t expect that from us as you know. When MSU or Oregon tried to run the zone stretch play it was blown up before it started so lower your expectations for the run game now. The only way we can get the ball in the endzone is attacking the middle of the field and turning short passes into long gains. The screens will be run to no end but don’t expect them to be very successful. I don’t know how many times I would see Oregon throw the bubble, the receiver would get the block on the corner and have all kinds of room and here would come Claiborne, Reid or Taylor out of no where to blow it up. It’s like the just morph to where the ball’s at. We have to use the entire field, be patient and take advantage of opportunities when they are present. The game could be decided by one or two dropped passes. Meaning we aren’t going to have too many chances to pick up big yards. So if say Tavon has a ball thrown his way on a screen or slant and if he catches it he has a chance at a big gain he has to make the play because that’s not going to be there later in. If he drops the ball that could be the game, that’s how perfect of a game our offense has to play. I’m not trying to kiss LSU’s arse but that’s the facts. I still see us playing a perfect enough game, putting it all together for the first time. But that still will only result in a hand full of FG’s and one touchdown.
All in all the odds are stacked against us. But not as much as you think from reading the above crap waste of your morning article. We have the home field advantage. LSU fans will say their kids are use to it, OK that’s fine but guess what, we ain’t at LSU either so when Geno is trying to change up the play he can do so with nice quite house. Their Offense is persistent but have the main goal of not screwing up. When Lee is in obvious passing downs he blows arse. Stack the box blow up their run and force Lee to pass with a 3rd and 6 and we get the ball back and Geno get’s to stay in a rhythm. Don’t expect us to put up a lot of yards and a lot of points. If the D is playing well, having to punt from the 50 is not a bad thing. Just be patient, make noise, for come late Saturday night after our 16 13 win “It will be a great day to be a Mountaineer where ever you will be”.

How will they play our offense any different, you better believe MSU stacked the box early on. Lee complete passes in the flats when they matched up 1 on 1 all night.
WVU wants to throw the ball all over the field, if you would say our pass rush & secondardy are our strenghts, then how would that be a better matchup than Oregon.
Oregon is more balanced than WVU on offense & they couldn't move.

I disagree. If anything, they are a worse match-up, because they have no running game.
Dinking and dunking is their only hope.
Geno won't have time to throw the ball downfield all that much. LSU is going to bring the house all night.
And their defense is terrible. We won't need Lee to be a superstar to win handily.
