The next segment of the Sports Reporters on ESPN have just previewed our victory last night "putting LSU right back in the national championship hunt"....coming on next.......I don't particularly like the show, and I don't like John Saunders, but I am interested in hearing/seeing what they have to say

I'm listening to it and they know that the SEC is head and shoulders above the rest of the country. They called the SEC the mini NFL

no reason for them to annoy you today...all they did was praise LSU, Les Miles, the SEC, and talk about how based on SEC toughness, how OSU shouldnt even sniff the BCS this year.

You damn straight Putty, we are an elite team, and we will be winning these games now that we used to lose every year we went on the road to play them. Miles coming from OK St. is reminding me more and more of another coach that came from there and became one of the greatest coaches out there, and he was somewhat of an unknown commodity when he came out of OK St. to go to Miami. And Les is taking on the personna and winning mentality that was Jimmy Johnson. We just don't have the thugs that "The U" had!

All of my guests last night kept commenting on how cool Les is even though we were losing. He never seems to panic, very confident.

AP Top Ten last week - 5 SEC teams in the group. 50% of Top 10 are SEC teams.

It's still the best conference in the nation, but it's really close to the Big 12. The SEC's in a down year, IMO. VERY top heavy. HUGE drop from the fifth to sixth team, and the depth that the SEC has had in the past is not there this year. It's not "head and shoulders above the rest".

Dude bottom feeder Ole Miss had the lead with a minute left on ACC leader Wake.

Vandy is 4-0 with Defense.

Arky is the only team letting the SEC down right now

Don't forget Mississippi State. Their loss to GA Institute of Technology was an embarrassment for the league.

Yes, it's a down year for the SEC. Only 5 teams in the top 10.
