way up the ranks? Most coaches never are HC, much less successful HC. You don't win as many games as he has and NOT know WTF you are doing. For the millionth time, until we REALLY know what happened, how can any of us judge ANYONE ? Hasn't Miles EARNED a little respect and the benefit of the doubt? In my mind he has. Hasn't he won 24 games in the last two years ? Name one LSU coach that has done that !

Loaded question since he played in more games in that time frame than any other LSU coach.

Loaded question? This board is nuked. Miles is the best coach LSU ever and will ever have. If he leaves LSU is fricked.

i agree with what you saying but you walked right into this:

Nick Saban
03 - 13-1
04 - 9-5

22-6...two years

Can't you READ ! How can we judge ANYONE without knowing what really happened ! Something happened, we don't know what, but Miles has 7 years for us to judge him, and this is out of character for him. That tells me he is what we thought he was, a good man who is covering up for someone. JMO. This is totally out of character for him, people his age don't change their spots. THINK !

Les haters will never be satisfied. My dad case in point. Said it would take two consecutive bcs titles to do so. This was before Monday night. I just laugh sometimes.

OK...
DO the math! Name an LSU Coach that has as good of a winning percentage over the last two years as coach Miles?

I'm pretty damn sure there isn't one.

Or how about this one...
Name another LSU coach that has finished the season with his team in the Top 5 Nationally 57% of the time (4 out of 7 seasons)
Or, in the Top 10, 71% of the time, (5 out of 7 seasons).

No one else even comes close!

LSU "fans" bitching about Miles are CLUELESS!

You're absolutely correct, however, I have a big problem with how he:

A) Didn't have a better game plan
B) Didn't have his staff ready
C) Has handled everything since Monday night. It's almost like he's hiding.

I've met the guy several times and I love him to death but I am really aggravated with him right now.

Just say something. "We weren't ready. My staff wasn't ready. That falls on me. I'm the head coach."

Something along those lines.

If Les does in fact walk on water like many here believe, why weren't his Oklahoma State teams more successful? He was pretty mediocre there. Did he all of a sudden flip the switch and become amazing when he took the LSU job?

You don't think any other coach in America could have been at least as successful walking into LSU in 2005?

LOL, when he took over Okie St, they were on Probation ! He beat Texas and Oklahoma while there. Remember They are and always will be a second rate school there. Sooners and Longhorns and Huskers ALL come before they do and always will.

You don't understand what I'm saying, so I won't continue to waste my time.

My point, which shot way the frick over your head, was simply that Miles is a product of his environment. Many coaches could have come in and done just as well or better since 2005.

I'm not talking about Curley, or Gerry, or Mike. I'm talking from the time that Saban left.

Look dude, I do not know what happened internally with our team. However, I do know what I SAW monday night and it was CRAP and Miles QUIT and did not try to win (fricked up play calling)

I did see the above for sure. Quit backing this goofy idiot for quitting on his team and fans.

I expect the person running my business to make good decisions. They could do great for a long time and be consistent, however, they need correcting sometimes for screwing up i.e. comparing Miles (ole miss, tenn in 2005, tenn last year, monday night).

I don't care how great they are, they accumulate a few missteps and those are recorded. A performance like Monday, or lack thereof, would cause me to probably fire them on the spot.

The reason is: "to lose your team when they are 13-0 should be damned impossible". That shows lack of control and the thug life must be forming like a cancer

Your TEAM and multiple of coaches are MORE IMPORTANT than the HEAD COACH. In my example, I can replace the CEO of my company but I cannot replace all the coaches or the WHOLE TEAM in one shot.

Especially if I know he is going to lay that egg like on Monday, I would can him before the game starts, go in the locker room and make a speech and say we are going to throw and run as equally as we can and go out there and have fun.

Miles was replaceable by Chief, Krags, Cooper, or Wilson for that one game before I would let him lay an egg on my players and fans. Then, I would get the Boise Head Coach or Sarkisian from Washington to replace him.

I take action on whats happening now for my brand. Could not give a rats arse what you did in the past concerning job security if you let me down (or customers /LSU Fans) in the manner that Les let LSU down Monday.

Bring it on know it alls about this analogy.

Dont tell me about recruits this and that. I move forward not backwards. The above moves keeps RR and RS and maybe even Brockers. It surely keeps Gunner and brings in a great final 4 guys to this class because coaching was upgraded as the Offense can become as good as our Defense is. Imagine # 10 offense to go with # 2 defense. That is a winner!!!
