You know who you are. It is amazing that as soon as LSU falls behind in any sport (no matter how early in the game) some fans start the gloom and doom talk. This exists to such extent that they don't even enjoy the game, all they are fixed on is the final results. What if LSU athletes behaved like those fans? I thought fans are supposed to be cheerleaders even when athletes are down. Next time before you criticize a coach, athlete, or the program during a game please take a look at your own behavior and see how competitive you are.

I agree with the OP. It was embarrassing to read some of the things said on here about our softball players and coaches on here Sunday. And then the same ones who said such ugly things then changed coats and bragged about how great we are. Embarrassing and shameful!

Every time we fall behind in a game, I think to myself "a chance to witness history." Sometimes it doesn't work out.. Like vs auburn in football last year.

I grew up in the 90's. I've learned LSU is never out of the game until the end.

Solid post on page 13. Nevermind that it was the 1st inning or that LSU has made plenty of comebacks this year.

If it makes you feel better I never gave up on the Tigers when they went down 5-0 and 8-3. I was calm, cool as a cucumber thinking "MAN! them aubies definitely gonna be depressed when we end up winning this thing". I only said the the F word twice during the game!!

LSU fans are no worst than fans of any other team wn it comes to being negative when their team falls behind by a good bit. I think that it is a defensive mechanism that people use to help cope with what they perceive as a coming loss. Also, I think more people are pessimistic by nature so they anticipate the worst. I certainly don't think LSU has a corner on this type of fan.

It'd be cool if our fans were better than other fans. It'd be cool if we expected as much from the fans as we expected from the players.

Do you want the chocolate chip cookie or the bozo the clown button for being the greatest and coolest LSU fan ever?

Actually the only reason I watched the entire "meaningless" game was NOT to bitch about the team's play but marvel in their comeback efforts and see if they could win. Hard to come back from 5 runs down - even if it is the very 1st inning. Geaux Tigers!

BTW: Wasn't that the most runs scored by Auburn in an SEC tournament game AND the best comeback by LSU over the entire season? Quite a feat. Fun to watch!

I think it's funny how the negative fans act like they're the tough guys and they're the realist.... When it couldn't be further from the truth. They're actually weak and prepare themselves for failure because they can't handle disappointment.

Fans like you are even worse. The reason you're happy about the win is so you can rub it in the face of a bunch of strangers on the internet.

we have a choice in life to live in fear or in faith.
in everything..

i am grateful to choose faith.

i have compassion for those that live in fear, for they have fear about EVERYTHING!

let the negas be a lesson that you are not like them!

no coach or athlete can ever be successful living in FEAR.
