Its funny at the bowl game against Louisville every time dupre was in the game i said it will be a pass to dupree and i was right about 90% of the time. Had he come back this year he would have been a top 20 pick in the first round. I believe Etling and him were finally clicking. I hope etling can find that go to receiver but i believe dupre will be a steal if he last into the 2nd round.

I'm an LSU fan and all, but if I were a NFL scout, I'd see the number of times he alligator armed passes and cringe. That said, Harris left him hanging out to dry so many times, I can't really blame him for getting a bit gun-shy. All the same, he needs to prove he can catch in traffic while leaping and tamp his fear down, otherwise all he's got is deep threat ability, and that's if he learns to jump at the height of the ball.

I hope he lands somewhere that recognizes his talents and works to get him tougher.

I swear some of you only relive all things negative on here. Look up some video of Dupre not just highlights and tell me when the kid looked scared out there. He made far more good to big plays than he did bad ones.

Such a frustrating career, he didn't put it all together under the very end of his time here.

Yes, Malachi started slow, but finished the season with some strong performances.

He could become a much better NFL receiver than many of you think.

Malachi was coming into his own toward the end of the season, if he carries that momentum over he should be a very good NFL receiver.

He is gonna have to learn to fight for the ball in the air and stop leaning in and out of his breaks. He has all the physical and athletical ability to be a great wr BUT its the fundamentals that turn a great talent into a great wr. Making all your routes look exactly the same so as not to tip your hand on which route youre running, high pointing the ball, where to sit in that cover 2,cover3,& cover 4 zone, high pointing the ball, blocking like your job depends on it,and putting in time with your qb to develop those very important timing routes.

Pretty sure Harris got him killed his freshman year. that eventually led to him thinking about the hit and dropping a few.

If so remember the catches Dupre made that bailed the qbs out

Yea, I don't remember that at all. In fact, I remember a few balls getting picked off due to his lack of aggression and never attacking the ball.

Thats debatable. He had a problem with drops until the last 3rd of his last year at lsu. Now i know he was raw coming out of John Curtis, but he still was plagued by drops throughout his career at lsu.

this happened far more times than Dupre bailing out the qbs.
For every reception he had that bailed the qbs out,he had 4 times where he dropped the ball, didnt high point the ball, or didnt fight for the ball.
