Curious to know how the rant feels about him after this season?

Sure. Saints would love to get a top ten talent at pick 32.

Of course I'd take him, but I wouldn't want to invest an early 1st round pick and the accompanying contract to get him.

As bad as we could use more rush, damn right. He outsmarted himself by not keeping himself in good shape after his surgery, but he worked his a$$ off to finish the season. He will only continue to get better and will definitely have more impact the last year's #1 bust.

I don't think he fits the Saints D very well. He'll be a standup 3-4 OLB

Not at the price it'll probably take to get him

You don't change your stripes. I see JR all over again. He had a chance to be a top 5 pick if he just took care of business this year. He didn't.

I don't think it's that bad, but I don't think he will produce like a first rounder needs to produce. His best days will be as a 3rd down specialist.

I don't see the heart and commitment. He will get out of shape. Maybe I'm wrong

The Saints NEVER draft a LSU player....because Mrs. Benson is on the TULANE board...TULANE HATES LSU

Of course. Any Saints fan that says no is a fool. Key is an elite pass rusher and would be a huge asset to the Saints defense

Love how people like you will, with really no basis to work from, question a college kid's heart and commitment to the team and then turn right around and absolutely FREAK OUT when anyone dares question the millionaire 50-something year old running the show.

Red flags be damned...lol. spoken like a true dumbass. Yeah, pay him a shite ton of money, he may have had a change of heart, newfound dedication, and a sense of pride. It is worth the risk. Lol

honestly, No. I just feel like players built like Arden Key don't play well in the NFL. They just can't hold up against the run.

I'm sure someone will bring up some exception to the rule that plays well but long skinny pass rushers generally don't work.

Sorry, I just don't see dealing with undisclosed personal issues in the offseason, suffering a number of injuries throughout the year and never getting in any kind of legit trouble as "red flags". Players of his caliber have done actual bad things before and still been drafted very, very high.
