Would you be willing to play UF on 11/19 in Tiger Stadium on the condition that we play the next 2 games in Gainesville?

There's no perfect solution, but I would be for it if offered.

Since Florida caused the snafu, they should be the ines punished. Not LSU. Make them play 3 in a row in BR.

frick UF.

I'm not remotely interested in any "compromise" at this point.

1) UF play LSU in Baton Rouge on 11/19

0r

2) LSU plays UF in Gainesville on 12/03

Or

UF and SEC office can go frick themselves.

But would we really be punished? The number of games in an opponent's stadium would be the same. It's not like they would be gaining anything from it.

No. That would not benefit us at all.

Uh, we'd be giving up a home game since we already have a home game that day, and would be giving up one of our only good ones next year.

Really? Getting to play florida at home this year when we have an outside chance at the SEC wouldn't benefit us?

LSU would play 5 conference road games next year so yeah, that's a detriment.

Plus, playing at Gainesville the next two years means it's two seasons before the schedule is corrected. Playing the game as scheduled next year means this season is the only one effected.

Trading home games punishes us and not them...how?

We would still be losing a home game. Would just push the impact to next year.

I would say no, but I doubt they ask me.

Because we lose a home game in this scenario

Wat? I'm literally proposing that UF comes to baton rouge to play that same day. You lose nothing that day.

So we lose nothing that day

and lose a home game the next year.

Meaning...can you put it together?

Wouldn't lose it that day, but add up the total home games on our schedule between this year and next year. Now, do the same under your scenario.

Now can you say we wouldn't lose anything?

playing 5 sec road games is a punishment. That game should have been played. We shouldn't have to cancel with another team to accomodate a team that did everything in their power to prevent the game from being played. LSU fans need to unite on this.

Yes I get that. It creates issues, but frankly every solution at this point does.

So we lose a home game, which is THE issue on our side.

It's a stupid solution.
