JD5 for the easy win. Nuss for the experience. Much like last year the bowl game could be used as a major kick start for the passing game going into the 2024 season. The only thing Nussmeier needs is experience.

Coach Kelley’s decision.

The player that gives the TEAM the best chance to win…. There is no debate… irrelevant question.

Daniels has mentioned the goal of ten wins in a number of interviews. Time for the rubber to meet the road. Jayden seems like the kind of guy who enjoys his team mates too much to opt out. While he's already proved to all what he already knew about his toughness, he seems to be the walk the talk kind of player.

I want to win. I don’t care who we play. I want the Tigers on top. Back to back 10 win seasons would be great. Hell 10 wins with this defense is a phenomenal feat. Too many fans worry about specifics over outcome.

Means nothing so why ask

Daniels to start and break the record with Malik then Nuss comes in for the rest of the game...

but I would hate to see him get hurt in a meaningless bowl game. Give me Nuss to get momentum going into next year.
frick all that
Thing I most want to see as an LSU fan: Daniels (as the Heisman Trophy winner) going apeshit in an LSU uniform one final time.
Thing I most do NOT want to see as an LSU fan:
Nuss (the expected starter for 2024) getting injured in a bowl game, seriously limiting what he can do to develop his game and be good next season.
I don't want either guy to get hurt, but Nuss would be a dagger to LSU's chances next year, and I want next year to be good.

Nuss can play in the second half after JD puts up 42.

Considering Jayden Daniels will end up winning the Heisman, he can do whatever the hell he wants. Play or don't play, he's earned it.

I want to see JD play one last game as a Tiger. That being said, Nuss playing a lot would probably be best for the program. We could get a glimpse if he could be the future or if we should look to the transfer portal.

To hand it off for half an hour? Better off having Collins do that.

JD … I want 10 wins!; I want to watch the most exciting QB we’ve had in my life time one more time. Geaux Tigers! Geaux Jayden!

Daniels and not even close.

Daniel’s to get Nabors the record and then Nuss. If Nuss implodes, back to JD.

That is the problem with young players now. They think bowl games are meaningless like you do. Stop posting ignorance.
