Would you have a problem with Aranda taking over after Les leaves?

Assuming the defense is top 10 again yearly while he is here and doesn't leave to accept a HC spot before Les retires or gets fired(lol)?

I think Aranda will be a good HC some day, but I'm not sure LSU is a good place to be a first time HC...

I would like to see him coach a game or two at DC before we crown him the coach in waiting.

Depends on how he performs but LSU typically gets a guy that's had head coaching experience and won as a HC. With that being said I wouldn't be surprised by anything this administration does.

Let's see how he does this year, but, assuming he continues to improve I would not have a problem with him taking over in a few years.

Let's let him coach a game or two. Lou Tepper came in with the same credentials.

I'd be all for it, if he meets or exceeds his lofty expectations this year.

Young, brilliant coach that has a strong thirst for studying all aspects of the game? Yes please.

Would rather see him coach a year or two (lets see how he does) and then convince his good buddy Tom Herman to come join him as the head coach.

stop with this nonsense.

1. Aranda has zero head coaching experience. When Les goes, we need his replacement to be an elite head coach. We don't need a new HC learning on the job.

2. Aranda hasn't coached one single down of football for us yet. Can we wait a little while to actually see how he does, please???
