Well just a few years ago his winning percentage was nearly 85%. Look for it to drop another few points before the year is over.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but...
I was just listening to McElwain on Russilo and Kannell, he said a few things that would resonate with my fellow LSU fans.
1. He attributed the success that Alabama has to Saban allowing his coordinators to coach, but the coaches were held accountable for the failures of their job duties. If the job wasn't being done correctly, there would be changes.
2. Different situations require different approaches, putting your players in a position to win the game.
3. "Finishing Second" is not acceptable, if that occurs there needs be changes made.

Miles has continually been stubborn in not allowing his coaches to utilize their players to the best of their abilities. Instead of changing the gameplan, he goes into games not making any adjustments as the game goes. There is no concept of changing with the game flow, and definitely no attempt to dictate the tempo of the game. The failures of our special teams this year has been more "Aw shucks", not holding the ST coach accountable. There has been a lack of instituting some form of accountability to unnecessary penalties. Games that we should be in, we are getting blown out. One thing to lose a nail biter, another thing to get blown out.

People are tired of this because we have the talent to be in contention for the National championship every year, yet we have to resort to the "next year is our year" approach. People are tired of being good, but not great or the best. The talent is evidenced by the number of players we have in the NFL.

For these reasons, I'm not saying Miles needs to be fired, but the situation needs to be fixed ASAP.

If You see the same results with the most talent in the country at your disposal then You have to make a decision. If Les didnt get the talent and he was at another school He would be a Legend with his current record but He is at Lsu and Saban is his chief rival.

No way, that would be the worst firing in college football history. It would also keep a lot of coaches away from even considering LSU to coach at in the future.

Would you fire an employee who has clearly defined goals that he even set for himself ( compete for championships) and didn't meet them for two years...what about three years....what about 4?

It's not crazy.

It's becoming a trend. We can do so much better. We aren't even competitive in the losses. We don't even win bowl games any more.. Dropped four of the last six. And we struggle to beat inferior teams.
It's not fun. We are winning on talent alone. We could do so much better. I'm not worried of a change any more because I don't even enjoy the current any more..

LSU fans need to calm down and look at what happened to Tennessee when they let Phillip Fulmer go.

Notice all the job offers Fulmer has turned down since Tennessee made him quit.

It's bit about what he has done. It's what he hasn't. He hasn't been able to capitalize on the talent he has had every year. That 78% win percentage isn't because of Miles. It's inspite of having Miles they could still win in talent

Yes. I would have done it three years ago when he used the Arkansas opening as a bluff to get more money out of LSU.

After watching all of LSU's games under Miles, I am truly amazed that he has won 78% of his games. Just doesn't seem like it!!
