Would we be #1?

Clemson and 1 loss FSU play Saturday afternoon.
If Clemson wins and we also win do we jump into #1 because we beat a higher ranked team?
Common sense says a victory over #4 outranks beating a #16. But common sense also said a 1 loss team shouldn't crack the Top 4.
Yeah yeah I know let's just focus on beating Bama but I'm on the 'Buga Finna Eat' wagon.
